Drive Sort Profiles Privacy Policy

Information used by the extension

Drive Sort Profiles processes only the information needed to provide folder-specific sorting rules:

• Google Drive folder IDs;
• optional folder names entered or detected in the popup;
• chosen sort columns and directions; and
• enabled or paused states.

Storage and transmission

These settings are saved using Chrome's synchronized extension storage. Chrome may synchronize them through the user's signed-in Chrome profile. They are not transmitted to the extension developer or any developer-operated server.

No tracking or sale of information

The extension has no analytics, advertising, tracking, or remotely hosted executable code. It does not sell or share stored information with third parties. Google may process synchronized extension data under the user's Chrome and Google account settings.

Website access

The extension's content script runs only on Google Drive pages under https://drive.google.com/drive/*. It reads the current folder identifier and interacts with visible sorting controls only when needed to apply a user-created rule.

Control and retention

Users can remove individual rules from the extension or clear the extension's stored data through Chrome. Chrome may retain synchronized settings according to the user's Chrome Sync configuration.
